As an aspiring equity research analyst, Daily-Fundamentals.com serves as a showcase for my fundamental valuations, investment ideas, and book reviews. The website began in 2011 as a learning tool to supplement my self-studies in fundamental analysis while pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology. Since then, I have continued to develop my research skills through self-study, participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst program, and masters-level coursework at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
I am a perennial student of the financial markets: I love the intellectual challenge posed by the markets and find my insatiable curiosity continually piqued. I received a Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015 and have a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas, with a research focus on evolutionary and social psychology. I have also studied psychology and Mandarin Chinese at the University of Hong Kong and Beijing Normal University, as well as worked as a business and finance journalist in Shanghai with Asia Briefing. I am currently a level II CFA candidate.
I aspire to work as an equity research analyst and am continually seeking to grow my skills through ongoing study and hands-on experience.
